I completed diagnostics and found the capacitor is not within spec I quoted repair and it was authorized and performed. The AC is now operational. I quoted top off and timeline. The system needed 1 pound of r22 per charging procedure of manufacturer. The system was fully operational when leaving.

I completed diagnostics and found tech found the disconnect outside in upside down, tech suggested to put a lock on and do not lose the key. The filter is dirty. I replaced with customers own. The capacitor rated 30/5, reading 25.75/4.924 ***LOW***. Ths r22 pressures are LOW. The customer does not want to add charge at this time, I did inform customer it is just above freezing temp. The system is cooling on departure.

I completed diagnostics and found when I called for fan only, no response. I called for cooling and the ac turns on. The system blower has failed. I explained the office will order the motor in the morning and when we have it we will call to schedule a return visit.

I completed diagnostics and found the furnace filter clean, I suggested to use the same style filters they are currently using and check every 30 days. The condenser is imploded/ failed. I replaced the part with customers permission. The system pressures are proper at this time, I suggested to add a float switch to prevent water damage in basement. The system is cooling on departure.

Upon arrival the homeowner had a complaint that everything stopped work, kind of intermittently but then totally stopped, no blower. I could smell something got very hot. I removed the furnace control board and found the back of the control and plate it was mounted was burnt. It would at least need a new furnace control board and transformer to further troubleshoot. Based on the cost of repairs, age of furnace (30 years old), lack of efficiency, AC having the outdated refrigerant, system not having warranty and condition I recommend replacement of system. The homeowner was not wanting to go with any repairs and requested an estimate for replacement. The homeowner is going to work with her home warranty company.

I completed diagnostics and found the compressor will not operate when the call for cooling is present. I replace the cap and the contactor. I added a hard start, no affect. I explained the system compressor has failed and went over repair/ replacement options. The customer opted to replace this Thursday so I deducted todays call fee.

I completed diagnostics and found that the condenser coil needs rinsed off with water. I found the filter - plugged. Everything was operational when leaving. After pulling blower door off Ecobee thermostat went into an update.

I completed diagnostics and found a leak at the liquid line Schrader valve and was unable to replace the valve, it would not come out. I explained that adding Freon to this system it will leak back out, customer understands and just needs system to last a little longer. I added 1 # R22 to system, it now has a proper charge. I put the cap back over liquid line Schrader valve as tight as possible. The system is cooling on departure.

I completed diagnostics and found that at the condenser the unit was not operational and just humming. The service disconnect is painted shut and needed to locate which unmarked breaker shuts the AC off. I marked breaker for A/C. The fan does free spin but motor is very hot to touch. I Checked the dual capacitor and need to repair to further troubleshoot. I quoted the repair and it was authorized and performed. I replaced the filter with homeowner provided filter and the AC is now operational. Checked amps on fan - 1.07 amps within spec Checked amps on compressor - 8 amps within spec Checked pressures: Suction - 79 psig Liquid - 315 psig Pressures are good System was fully operational when leaving

Upon arrival I pulled and clean the Evaporator Coil. I pulled and cleaned the Blower Wheel and Housing. I cleaned the condenser coil. The system is operational upon departure.

I arrived to perform a diagnostic on an air conditioner. Upon inspection, I found system off. Customer stated nothing will run, found high voltage wire connection came loose on the main control board. I secured the connection. Proper operation at this time. I verified proper R22 pressures at this time, and system is cooling at departure.
